FORT MILL AUTO REPAIR

Thanks for changing my wife's flat tire last night. We would have been glad to pay and you were too nice to accept; that's the kind of place we choose to do business with.

A special "Thank You" to the gentlemen who changed my flat tire last night and refused to accept payment. Now that's the kind of place I choose to do my business with.

My wife complained that her brakes were making noise when braking so I called my regular mechanic. They told me he could squeeze me in tomorrow morning. I called Shell Rapid Lube based on their yelp reviews and got an estimate which sounded reasonable. I was suprised when they told me I did not need to make an appointment and I drove right over. Sure enough they helped me immediately and Richard took my car for a test drive. He came back and put the car on the lift and inspected the brakes. I fully expected to have the brake pads changed and possibly the rotors too. I was pleasantly suprised when he told me there is still 40% left on the brake pads and he did not recommend replacing the pads yet, and they do not advise their customers to make unnecessary repairs. He also told me that I should keep an eye on the tires as the tread is getting low. I do not take the time to write reviews unless I am extremely dissatisfied with a merchant.After this experience with Richard, I felt compelled to share my experience with others.Passing by Shell Rapid Lube many times, I was unaware they also provided automotive repair services. I will definately be coming back to them for future service needs! Thank you Richard!

Jim and his team are great. They're honest and trustworthy and don't try to sell you things you don't need. I brought in my Civic with a broken door lock cylinder and they installed a replacement in less time than they quoted initially. They also had two different locksmiths come out to try and rekey my new lock to my existing key and didn't charge me when the locksmiths couldn't rekey the new cylinder. So I have an extra key on my key ring now but it's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned. Jim and the guys went above and beyond for me and I'll be back because of it.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Quick service, very upfront and honest technicians. Suggested waiting on a service I requested since an upcoming service would repeat the same task. This place is worth it.
